Sweet Fifteen, New Deal, and THEN...

(Over 300 levels have been released since the Sweet Fifteen levelpack was officiated.)

Around 70 levels have been nominated for the Hall of Fame. They are listed here:

These levels have been selected by several players (listed on the page). Anyone can add to this page if they want to, but I think it is fairly complete.

Now the list should be consolidated, until only 15 levels are left. Everyone should vote for or against the levels. The plan is to only have some levels with v1.4 features, because no one has mastered them yet.

Bones asked me to do his levels since he's out of town for a bit. That's why I am commenting on all of the ones he was chosen for. I will be sending the replays to Kris tonight

By the way, after all the replays are available to view, let's all go back and re-vote for the entire list. I am sooo glad we decided to have these levels played and the videos viewable because my voting has changed quite a bit since playing these (and seeing them played by others). I know this is a new process and may seem a bit involved compared to how a levelpack used to be determined, but this will undoubtedly be the test version for all the level packs to come in the future. So once we establish a good approach on how this all works, we can just use Kris's webpage and system as a 'turn key' tool and just plug in the new levels, assign them to active players, and Bam! I bet next time will be much quicker and much more organized.

I agree completely. Next time we can maybe even put together a level pack of the possibilities so everyone can easily play them as well as see the replays. I'd volunteer to put together the pack.

I am also playing and almost I finish all to them, I believe that there are some interesting ones that are being outside. It is necessary to play several times to give an opinion and later not to regret.

That's a great idea PMD. I have been uploading the level packs, then loading each level of interest into the designer, resaving it into a level pack I created called "Next Levels" and then deleting the level packs that I no longer need. But one person (like you

) do all the footwork first and then have everyone be able to just upload one pack will be very helpful I'd say.

Cirenco - do you have any that we don't have a movie for yet other than the ones I have commented on today? Maybe you can turn them into Flash movies and send them to Kris so you could be part of the action!

I can understand why everyone is wanting to make sure all the levels are worthy of the next HOF pack. But I do like the idea that everyone sees the new pack for the first time at the same time, like NewDeal. I know SweetFifteen was based on existing levels but I don't think people new what was going to be in it. As it is this coming pack will have already been mastered by the best players before it's even released - not much chance of me grabbing a medal if even for one night

Ibanez you are not considering something very important here. We are not keeping any of this secret. Kris has made all levels known with the new web pages and anyone can download these and play them. That's what Cirenco is doing because he's smart. Go for it! Good luck

That is true - I will do that immediately. I guess I just need to get better and not rely on getting a medal based on being the first to get a mediocre time submitted!

I am definitely looking forward to the new pack though - always a good flurry of activity - any projected release date yet?

No .....I don't know. Kris and Sz will probably decide the date I assume, but I believe it will be within the next 4-6 weeks. Don't quote me though

I have an idea, when the new pack release someday, what if all BoD masters (gold medalist) like Mike, Dr C., Kris, PMD, Smalls, Vega, etc. (if vega want to play new pack beside standard

) hold on a little bit and give all mediocre player like us (who never get any gold for 1 night) to submit at least for 3-4 days after the release date?

. Because after all, when they submit their games, all the gold will be theirs.

I would suggest picking a few levels that you think you can do great in and practicing them now, so when the pack comes out you can grab a few golds... speaking of which, i should do that, i havent really played any of the new levels at all

For me i think, i'd better make better time for the existing levels, rather than practicing the uncertain new coming level

. I don't have any special room for play and sit there for a whole day, like several of our friends here
