| | | Looks good. Any thoughts on an Android version? I'm looking at one of those next time. You already know Java if your Websync is anything to go by so it shouldn't be too hard. It's obviously up to you though. |
|
Sz
| | | actually, i already made a preliminary java implementation - back in BoD v1.0 days (considering the J2ME platform), but the performance was awful (probably because it was too lowlevel). nowadays the graphics performance is no longer an issue so the android version seems viable. but the problem with java is that it is too open which could harm the hall of fame credibility. |

| | | This looks great!! Will there be a new HoF for iphone users? And, you should keep the classic sticky guy as biker |

| | | Kris, the mutitouch interfase the iphone has is surprinsingly intuitive, the slightest touch is recognized. I think it's a great platform and can't wait for BoD, more now that I lost my palm... |

| | | I'm lucky to have a beta of the iPhone version from Sz and have to say I'm very impressed. The virtual buttons definitely take some getting used to and I felt like an absolute beginner again to start with, but you can move the buttons to exactly where you want so with some fine tuning and practice it all starts to some together again. I now do believe that iPhone runs can compete on equal terms in HoF.
The graphics are beautiful and smooth - Sz has done a fantastic job. I predict a #1 on the App store! |

bones
| | | does it work on itouch? (please) |
|
Xuzz
| | | The iphone and itouch platforms are the same so yes it does ! All apps work on both unless they use the phone or the GPS. |

MacGuru
| | | Sz,
Couldn't you make a desktop application for the level editor?
That way anyone and everyone could make levels on their computers for use on the iPhone/Touch or PalmOS. |

PiNerd
| | | It's not called iTouch it's called iPod touch

| | | It's easier when you're commenting on something to abbreviate things at times. |
|
BikerBrian
| | | Cut him some slack, PiNerd. I don't see anything wrong with abbreviations. Plus, Google knows what you mean if you enter "iTouch". My vote is that we should be able to call it whatever we want. In my book iTouch = iPod touch.
Btw, the Guitar Hero type game for iTouch looks pretty cool. Has anyone played it? |
