Ideas for next version.

ok every body I know that v1.5 just came out and its great! but there will be a next version eventualy ,am I right?

so here are me(and my brothers{the citic.})ideas,

#1.booster pads,sort of like in mario cart but that are maby sticky in some way so that when you land back wheel first on one that you don't flip and die,maby so that it only works if both wheels are on.

#2.slow down pads,sort of like increased fritcion(also a good idea) but instead of slowing you to a certain speed and keeping you there it slows you down to that speed and then stops working,at least till you go off and back on agin.

#3.moving ground, a bit like this,


of cource im terribly bad at art so I don't know if this will make sence or not but basicly a joint in the ground.

#4.bouncy ground(this idea belongs to th-champ and was not my ideabut I like it),for a highr impactlevel that the bike can withstand,
to make him bounce higher,and anything els you guys can think of,sort of like a trampoline I gess(that might actuly be a good thing for it to look like).

please remember that I know sz has only just made the new version however there wil(hopefully)be a few more versions yet.
what do you all think, any good ideas there?
you can post some of your ideas for the next version to down below.

another 2 things sz could add would be,if he adds the center of gravity he could also add that that point repels insted of pulling so all the outsid walls are points of gravity.also one sided phantom would be cool,sort of like how portals can be only acesed by one side,this would be cool for ground to make the biker stuck also you could use that to bounce off of after phantoming thru it.....any thoughts on these Ideas???

the problem with one side phantom (and also one side portals) is that its influence depends not only on the current bike location but also on where the bike WAS previously: compare coming out of the wall and riding onto the wall - in one case the wall should bounce you off and in the other case it should be traversable. i decided this is too complicated so the one side portals only work "approximately" (but such approach would not work with one side phantom walls because the wall would start working in the middle of the bike effectively killing him ). well, perhaps i would implement the correct behavior later...

I see,that won't be posibl for a while anyway,but im happy with the amount of posibilities this page has come up with(so far) and evan more happy that you(sz) are evan considering any of them(If you put in the movable ground I would have made a permanate mark on bod)I personally like all my ideas(duh)and the gravity one are the best ones here(theres not many others)so I feel very accomplished with this amount of fed back.

another ideathis ones for the editor,ya know ow the first 2 levels have mesages at the top of the screen?I think it would be cool if we could right action activated messages to tell the players who are playing,it could be a tutoring help(like in rsp 1 and 2),or things like"your never gonna make it"or "oh! your stupid you crashed into a wall",thos are silly examples but im sure every one could think of uneek things to tell there players

About the one way walls and portals: they are both partially possible already. Could someone please explain how to post a picture in a message so I can show you how?

Also, increased friction on a bike would speed you up not slow you down, and you can kind of create a booster pad already by using a ton of vertices in a very small area. (See Glitch from Cody's Levels)

Friction (in the real world) is necessary for acceleration, but will slow the bike down, as some momentum is lost due to the rubbing of the bike wheel against the ground. If there was no friction, you could coast forever without slowing down, but on a flat surface, you would never be able to gain speed.
I think there is already some friction in this game to slow the biker down, which is why, on level.php?l=2155, you cannot go very fast even after accelerating for a full minute.
Friction by itself will not change the biker's speed, but I think it would be implemented to slow the biker down.

I got a new one(agian),online here,at the website,when you wach a game recording all you see is the biker and the map,could a timer up in the corner,like on my palm,be added?because my computer is slow and I sometimes want to know if I am beating someone up to a certain point,and when I try to time it with my wach or something I know its wrong,so is it posible to add a timer like when you playing the game,to the online recordings?input please!

one morecould it be added to make sidways gravity?I know we can sort of do it with the new centrall gravity idea but that pulles it to a certain point as aposed to sideways n generall.also mayby activated gravity like after you get a certain amount of flags the gravity could change directions,mayby this is another crasy pickleish Idea but it sounds cool to me

I think sideways gravity along with the new opposite gravity are kind of useless. Just rotate the level!
