Better known or respected players

i think there should be another chart for people to give a point to anyone they think is good or who they respect or who they just plain out like

Hard to control the validity (just like freestyle comp) but I really like this idea. I guess this would be like a popularity contest when it all came down to it. I have always wondered who likes who in this game!

that is what i meant in shorter tems... and not one vote either just you dont vote for who you dont like

The Freestyle competition has been rigged by popular players. And popular players should be self evident, so they don't need more notice.
Just add all of the popular names throughout the Wikipedia article.

Theres no point in this competition... id dominate and it would ruin the fun for everyone!!!

I reviewed Bike or Die!, probably had the most ideas, have the most posts here, have my own Bike or Die! site, have three Palms, organized the Wikipedia page, had over a dozen different avatars here, have the most games online, Beta tested 3D Mines, made the most levels (especially when I release them all), I had the most games played (although I might not, now), emailed all of my recordings to Sz for him to degug v1.4, added a "Bike" category for my emails, changed Bones' picture for him, got my dad to buy the game for his Treo, have three levels in the Hall of Fame (plus Sinus Revisited), am thinking of getting another Tapwave Zodiac for this game, have the most popular levelpack at Palmgear (even though it was not the first), and have the Bike or Die! button in my signature at Astraware.
But we could vote anyway.

Of course we don't need a chart, and it really doesn't have much to do with Bike or Die!
Notable contributions, both what I mentioned, and Vega's medals, should be part of Bike or Die! history, but not a competition chart.
bones
than we should have a page showing historical players
one that will always be there

yea bones its called golden club

bones
yes but eventually great players wo dont play anymore will be at the bottom and newbies will be like...huh they're just alright but one gold isnt that big a deal....

hey I just got an idea! Instead of having a category about the most popular players, what if we could vote on favorite public games to watch. This would be separate from the freestyle competition. So like for example, let's say I really really liked Smalls new 11.86 game on RSP2. Let's say it's one of my favorites to watch. It would be cool to be able to vote for that game as a favorite. Infact I think this would be more fun than the freestyle comp because any and every game would be eligible! Sometimes the most amazing and exciting games to watch are not considered freestyle but they have more of an 'awe' factor anyway. What does everyone think of this?

It would be nice to split the Freestyle into two competitions.
