| | | under the original scoring rules only the first person having the best time could get max points, new players had no way to get a good score in bottle, so this level was excluded from the competition. now you get equal points for equal score and the bottle is back
however there is still only one gold medal and only one golden club point in a level... so perhaps bottle-type levels should be excluded from golden points scoring. what do you think? |

| | | Sz - I think that ranking should be equal as well. I'm sure that it's annoying to have matched the gold time and yet be ranked #68. Ties should be ties. But I'll admit that it can get complicated. The main problem with this is in medal distribution (since there can only be 3 medals per level). In that case, I think "first come, first get" is the best scenario.
For the 2 bottle levels, I agree with having the GC points stripped since they are not truly earned. |

| | | I think we need to consider removing Triangles for the same reason. There is some chance, given enough time, that it may bottle up someday.
Seriously though, I would pay money to have triangles removed. |

| | | First come first serve is fine for medals. The rationale is that if the level is not deemed a bottle, a faster time can be achieved. It may get frustrating in heavily played levels that are very short but that is something we just have to live with.
But for sure, take away GC points for the bottle levels. Id even remove them from competition just because it messes the graph. Clearly they were not HOF worthy levels and in hindsight we can rectify the mistake. |

| | | Plus, i would suggest that we take away all golden club points earned from the time that the second person achieved the score. So Rachman would earn golden club points in Bottle from Nov 2004 until Feb 2005.
I dont think it is fair to remove the points from the beginning because the originators, especially in bottle, did put in some effort and should be rewarded. So for the time period that they were the only person with the bottled time, they had an original score and should receive points. |

| | | My vote:
1) Go with Real Rank in the 'Rank Distribution' graph
2) Give the 'Finder' of a bottle path 100 GC points for their effort.
3) Remove all GC points earned(except for the finder's points) from bottle levels.
Alternate option for #2: Give them GC points until 10 people (or some other number) have matched the time.
We are only talking it about 2 levels and 2 people that it really effects at the moment and they don't even play anymore (that we know about). So, it is not like we will be hurting their feelings.

| | | Besides Rachman and DavidKing were 2 of the top players in their day. I am sure that they are not interested in collecting eternal GC points on these bottle levels. I know for sure I wouldn't be interested. I want to earn the points... that way nobody can ever question it. If they get upset, that would very weird. |
