At least I have a new goal, since I'll probably have to wait another week to continue the battle with Pickle. The Pickle train must have had an extended layover in BoD2 Intro-land  . Maybe Spence has some points saved up?
BTW, my rank distribution graph is looking much better now. My lowest rank is now 74 on Underground (and that includes jumping over the bombs). It took over 2500 tries to get RSP2 down to #62. |

Actually, I play WAY TOO MUCH. Do you remember the Biker's Anonymous thread I started a few months ago? That was before I was truly addicted.
From the day I posted my first level (1/9/08), I have played an average of 788 games/day. Of course I can't play that many games every day, so I have to make it up on the weekends and at night when I should be sleeping .
However, I still have a long way to go before I log as many hours as many other BoDers. Many of the top players have played over 500,000 games. BTW, I think you guys in the Top 10 should seek sponsorship (maybe Discovery Channel or EB Games?). You should get paid for the time and effort you put into this game!
I think it was Mike who said that you need to try a level about 2000 times before you really learn it. If I do this on every level, it would result in 356,000 total games. I've played less than 110,000. Pickle, rest assured that if I need to play more games than you to stay ahead, that's what I'll do  . |

|  | | Mike used to ask me how in the world I got 16.68 on Underground... I told him that you have to play it until you are blue in the face, then purple, then black... and then when your eyes begin to bleed, you might be getting close to knowing that level enough to get 16.xx. I'd say 2,000 tries is a pretty good estimate for scoring a good solid time, but it's very different for each level. Took me 29,xxx on Underground. I can remember when my best on Double Sprint was 20.98 (was 4th place at the time after about 4,000 tries) and I thought Oliver's 20.72 was nearly untouchable. Now that I have played it over 25,000 times, I can set my 650 down and have a sandwich in the middle of my run and still beat 20.72  
The more you play a level, the more familiar you'll be with every aspect of it. And it amazing how there always seems to be a few more frames to squeeze out, even on strong gold runs |

if I had been spreading my games out more like you,I would be alot farther.....,oh well,I almost have a good time on jurassic parking(as in top 30)and since I am rankd badly there I wil gain like 60-70 points,and the same thing with a few other levels,so I may make it to like 18-19 this sunday but then agian........maby not......."sigh" |
