| | | WOW. Cirenco and Mike Flips! Sorry TABS. I think that might be a record for Golds lost in one day--8.
If the medal count stays as it is today, Cirenco will pass Tabs for the overall Gold Club leader in 172 days on May 18, 2007. Enjoy it while it lasts. |

| | | Cirenco - you must be crazy. That's the only way I can make myself understand how you can do this! Yup. I think I figured it out. You are well beyond insane |

Kristopher
| | | It seems strategic to me. Cirenco wants to be #1 here. |

Vega
| | | stategic...yes, of course
easy...no
I just don't know how he does it. And Mike Flips too. These guys are really in the zone right now. They are claiming golds like it's child's play but in reality it's very difficult. For Cirenco to take that many golds at once from a great player like Tabs is just plain nutzoid. |

| | | Its just a matter of finding a solid route and developing it.
As well, its also about finding new routes or areas where there is lots of room for improvement. Look at what i did in the standard levels.
I beat Hellraider which had stood for a while. Then this sparked a whole competition on that level because people realized that the time could be beaten and new routes were discovered.
The same thing on golden gate, that gold was over a year old i think and in a matter of days we cut the time down by more then a second.
Same with sawtooth, i got gold then Alex's school all played it and improved by over a second. Likewise with Pipe Universe.
Then theres the levels such as Cloudwalk and Vertical Avenue that PMD started new waves on. And even Vanilla Sky, Vega prompted both me and Gus to try the level again and we both beat the old gold.
The trick is just find a level you like, and play it a lot until you can beat it all the time. Then look for little tricks that help speed you up along the way. Vega, you of all people know that never giving up is key to the golds. |

| | | Of course Mike. But I have never been able to obtain golds at such a high rate. Maybe one every now and then, but many in one day is very hard to do. That's really more what I am referring to. Those kinds of gains are seen more in brand new level packs, but many of yours and Cirenco's new golds are on well established levels that already had pretty good gold times.
Also, I have noticed the wave effect as well. With Hellraider, you beat Oliver's time first, but what started the crazy competition was when I posted the 23.xx. With Golden Gate, you were probably done with that level but then I posted a 29.84 and caused a competition between you and me for the gold. With Cloudwalk, I would say Cirenco was pretty much done with that level and PMD's time probably had nothing to do with Cirenco beating it. Then I posted the 27.68 and Cirenco got mad and now everyone is joining in. Anyway, I am not trying to steal credit or anything goofy like that, but these levels were sort of ?stale? when I posted on these and I didn't choose to play them based on what someone had done weeks ago. So I kinda feel like my recent postings have caused waves of competition on Vanilla Sky, Hellraider, Golden Gate, and Cloudwalk because every time there was an immediate response?and I plan to cause more waves throughout the standard levels for quite a while

| | | yea, but look at who you were taking the golds from... thats the difference
Each gold u took sparked a wave cuz u were taking from players who could actually challenge and sometimes overcome you. I was just taking them from people who either didnt notice, or didnt care. Nonetheless, these waves are what make the game challenging, so keep on sparking |

| | | I join in the waves when I can because it is fun. Why take a Gold from someone who stopped playing months ago and doesn't care when I can take it from active players? It seems more challenging to take from the active players. And sometimes I need a new route from you guys to improve my time. |
