I'm not sure about that, or how many people look at that after purchasing, but I do know that the intro game replay is Classic where time should "stand still."
Sz
yeah, i must admit that "about" screen is visually compatible with the first Palm III apps i've seen several years ago
any ideas how it should look like in 2006?

I always do care that. This somehow indicates if product is being still developed or not. 2 years is a lot of time.

SZ: I doubt it's worth any efforts to make About dialog look more fancy. Keeping it up to date is quite sufficent (plus, maybe, replacing hardcoded string X positions by calculated (with aid of FntCharsWidth()) to make it still center when i.e. FontX hack is being used. And maybe less sucky icons (sucky means not antialiased to white background -> I use "Nostalgia" theme here and most icons looks awful when aliased to white background (which I do not have, bad luck

I noticed the website also stays in 2004 - I always work that out by replacing hardcoded year by PHP's date('Y');. And I'm up to date forever

Has it been two years already? Then we need another one of those "12 months of Bike or Die" charts that shows the top 50 players throughout the year.
Sz
oh, so you are talking about "2004" displayed in that window! what a relief. i thought i'm supposed to put a truecolor bitmap in the background or something like that to make it up to date

Pointless as long as PalmOS' UI looks like from 14th century by itself
