Sound file on Palm T/X causing delays

wbw	Sound file on Palm T/X causing delays When I have sound enabled on the Palm T/X, I have a problem with the bike movements stopping for a split second. This happens several times during a run. It doesn't happen when I have the sound turned off. Any ideas? Thanks.

Are there any other TX users out there? Would sure like to know if there is a fix for this. Thanks.

with a help from Ben Michell (thanks!) i found one cause of the delay on T|X, and it is connected with the way the sound handling is performed in the game. i already have a fixed version and it will be published soon.
however, this does not solve the problem completely, because there is another source of the delay, probably the new NVFS flash based database architecture introduced by Palm. these delays seem to happen only at the moment when the biker dies and for now there is no cure.

Thanks so much for the upcoming fix. I can live with the delays when the biker dies (although I die way too often!), its just annoying when you are at a critical point in the route and the biker hesitates (causing more deaths!)

The new test version is ready!
It should fix the T|X "stuttering" problem and also improves Treo 650 handling: "Disable other keys" will also disable the Home button to prevent accidental quitting (see "Control Options")
