Level based ground friction?

Could it be possible to set ground friction?

So if someone wanted to make an ice level, they can make the ground look like ice, and lower the friction level so that you slide a bit.

Just another way to increase / decrease the difficulty.

It might be great for version 2.0, but right now we are still awaiting a better playing environment- not new challenges. But playing with different physics might keep us perpetually confused. The way it is right now, you can play one level better by practicing on another level; this would change that.

i do like the idea though. maybe it could be an option that you could turn on and off.

But you can't turn it off if you need it to get records for the Hall of Fame. :?

I agree that it would be nice to turn it on and off, but say for "moon" levels, or ice levels... I think it would add more realism to the level that would in turn increase replay IMO.

I think the idea is interesting. but I say the maker of the level desides how much resistence there is so no one can get a better time just because they put the resistance at a good level. mabey you could just turn it on to have fun with though

Well yes, I would assume that friction or gravity settings would be available in BikeOrDesign when you create the level.

So you make a nice wintery level... you could increase the gravity a tad and bump the friction down low so you slide as if on a slippery ice surface. Of course one can always edit the level themselves but we all know what happens to those who cheat
