Suggestions and bug reports are welcome.
Currently, you can nominate and vote for as many levels as you want, but I think it will work best if each person nominates less than ten levels, and votes for about half (or maybe a third) of the nominated levels.
First you will have to register and log into the site.
Then you can nominate and vote for levels.
For registering, logging in, and nominating, players and levels are referred to by ID.
For example:
Mr.pickle. = http://bike.toyspring .com/player.php?p=5004 = ID 5004
360 Challenge = http://bike.toyspring .com/level.php?l=2102 = ID 2102
On the main page (index.php), next to each level, is a checkbox, which lets you vote for that level.
At the end of the page is a Vote button, which will update (save) the list of levels you voted for.
I have not attempted to nominate all the good levels, so as many people as possible should nominate their favorite levels.

What do i do about the levelpack I am only releasing for BoD2, complete with the updated version of Bike or Pi, a shortenened version of Multislope and many other fantastic levels designed specifically for HoF? |

|  | | Good point Pi. Since there is going to be a beta of BoD2, why don't we restart the voting when the beta comes out. That will give you time to finish them and others to make a level or two if they want and get them to SZ to put in the system.
Then when the final version comes out we finalize the voting and go with it.
I still think we should make a requirement to have a recording posted of someone playing the level to completion for people to see so they can vote with more data than just it looks cool. Some levels look good, but don't play good. I volunteer to put the finalists in to a pack so it will be easier to test and we can split them up for recording.

|  | | I agree PMD, it worked well for "Next Generation" and will definitely produce a great pack. But how long are we talking to get Bod2? It's also fun for a new pack of totally unseen levels to appear, which SZ does very well. But as he's likely busy with BoD2 anyway that's probably not going to happen and he would be happy for the BoD community to present him with a new HoF pack. |
