Thought i might post here (as nobody really has since the Cirenco debate

). So anyway, the reason im posting is that if you look quick, mike and laser have the top in medals by country (by a big margin, too....).

And mike has 65 (!!!!!) golds

I think we may need to work on the way that this is scored

I used a calculator and added up all the points for golds,silvers and bronz. thats points not how many(121 for gold,116 for silver and 112 for bronz) and it came out like this.

canada a grand total of.....16,063 points!
u.s.a a grand(er) total of 25,971 points!
I dident bother with the rest...
but bye these stats and bye simply looking you can see that canada simply has more golds than u.s.a but usa has more than twice as many silver and bronz and so teknicly should still be #1

because by this there could be say one person from australia with say 20 golds and no other medals and the most anyone else has is 2 ok so obviously australia would be in first right?
but there is also someone from itally who has silver on every level of the game,would that evan put him in second?NO! that would still put him behind any one who had evan 1 gold!

so bye that I think we need to rethink the way we score this

andyes I know that u.s.a majorly outnumbers everything else and so its not a big deal for them to be in 1st anyway but still...
