Scoring is based on the total time needed to complete all levels.

Well, actually it is too hard to make that kind of research Cody. I have to ask my 5 years old kid to help me to do that, since he can spell "xylophone" :-p :-p

I've seen this topic before, but... Just gotta add my $0.02. I understand why people keep levels secret, but I would like to see a 1 point penalty for it. Top marks are already getting bonus points, so if they want to keep it hidden to protect their run it?s paid back. It would encourage less that a top 15 to open the run. I know top players will frown on this, but would sure even the playing field for us middle of the road guys. Thoughts, flames and other comments welcome?

As it is the rich get richer, but that's just the points total - I don't think the rank sequence itself would be affected at all. When the top 10 bonuses were introduced nothing really changed, Mike was and is 1st, I was and am miles behind

Well, I could pick up a few points with this

but it can't work. This is a Time Trial - surely you can't have a slower time getting the higher rank ???

Yeah, I screwed up and posted under wrong thread, really meant for Time Trial Champ, not Total Race.

You could do it if you want, but I think Mike Flips, Vega, and I play for medals much more than points, so it wouldn't make us open any more games.
