| BikerBrian | |  | Alex, the fact that you are ranked higher than Xuzz but he has more medals shows what Vega has said all along: getting a medal (especially a gold) is much harder to do than getting top 10 on every level. However, the gold medal holder only gets 20 more points than 10th place. I'm not necessarily saying that the points structure should change, since that would only give Mike a larger lead... I'm just saying.
If a player has limited playing time, he must decide whether to go for medals or overall TTC points. I have typically been more focused on points and time than with medals. The medals that I have are a result of really loving a level or a result of chance (downhill).
And for reasons discussed previously, I am definitely not a fan of the "Golden Club". Many ranked in the top 30 earned their points back when there weren't very many good players. |
