PMD | | | Hey Pickle, how would you know anything about grammar and spelling?
|
| Kristopher | | | PMD | | | Honestly PiNerd, with your creativity, I'm surprised you would go with BikeForce 2. You have some sweet levels in there and the levels goes with the pack. I would think that your next pack should have another cool name, not just a sequel name. If you look at all the hall of fame levels, you don't see any Old School 2's or Supernatural 2's if you know what I mean.
Just my 2 cents. |
| Laser | | | I'm with PMD- you need creativity, and the possibilities are endless.
How about "The Dark Bike," or anything from the Die Hard series.
Bike Harder. Bike Free or Die Hard. BikeForce with a Vengeance.
The Empire Bikes Back, or just Bikeforce- Bikes Back?
I always liked Bikeforce in Space.
BikeForce Forever.
Fellowship of the Bike.
If "2" was taken, how about BikeForce 0 or BikeForce X.
Even BikeForce- Unflipped!
Kingdom of the Crystal Bike kinda works...
If you venture into Bond, you can say "From Poland (Get it?) with Love," or "Bike or Die another Day," or ThunderBike, or my favourite "The Bike Who Loved Me."
The possibilities are ENDLESS. No one needs to insult and/or get insulted.
Feel free to add more.

| Xuzz | | | Thanks laser -- mind if i use any? Ive been having a hard time with naming my own pack |
| bones | | | Vega | | | As I was reading through these suggestions. I was thinking about how cool all of these names are.
The creative possibilities are, as Laser says, endless. To all of us (the hardcore BoD masters of the universe), this stuff is cool and fun.
But right at the moment when I felt engulfed in the nerdiness of it all,
I zoomed out to a bird's eye view, and imagined what all of this would sound like to an outsider... a "non-BoDer"... one of "them".
And I have to say... all my life, I have marveled at how nerdy most fan clubs are.
You know, the Trekkies, the Star Wars diehards (people who line up outside the movie theater at 7pm the previous night for Opening Day showtime),
G.I. Joe boys, Baseball Fanatics (me), Football Maniacs. Grown men in the crowd painting themselves for National TV.
Let's not forget the girly stuff... Barbie dolls, "playing house".... blah blah blah. (notice how I don't know much about the girly stuff )
Years ago, before Laser ever started playing BoD, he probably would have thought that anyone who would be so fanatic about a silly little game on a handheld PDA is a NERD.
But here's that catch... here's the point... a don't think Laser is nerd. In fact, I was starting to think up some names myself.
That's when I realized that we all have our strong interests, and that the boys and girls of Comicon (an epic annual event in San Diego), are no different.
btw... a while back, we were all discussing what to name 2 upcoming levelpacks (now known as Old School and Next Generation).
Mike Flips suggested what still to this day makes me laugh uncontrollably at times.
We were on a roll.... "Dante's Revenge, Dante's Suicide, Blast from the Past, Biker Suicide, Old School Suicide".
Then Mike took it to the next level: "Wrist Slitter's Haven" I had to leave the computer
THAT'S a true BoDer!
Anyway, long post I know... but every now and then, that's ok

| Shane | | | Laser | | | If you want to fully appreciate Vega's post, play "America the Beautiful" while reading it.
But seriously, I STILL think anyone that's fanatic about any silly little game is crazy.
How can you let negativity enter into such a meaningless world? This is fluff- it's nothing. It's a game designed for you to enjoy yourself. If you start finding problems with it, either find a new game or admit yourself into a mental hospital.
Play, have fun, compete if you want, waste your time making up names, just no crazy fanaticism. That's it. |
