ability (please, please, please) to use any Treo key for controling the bike. Would be much more handy, plus, it would safe by 5Way navi from being wrecked too early.
or maybe better an option for not blocking up/down from restarting the game during the crash sequence? (actually this blocking is done on purpose to "isolate" your previous game keypresses from the next game)

could be done. apart from exchanging one simple function in several ugly function in the control code i would need a different "control options" user interface for choosing one of 35 treo keys, eg. in the Hi-Launcher way (which would be nice even without treo anyway)
I think so. If the menu would be accessible by tap the menubar (which would automatically block the menu key from working) during the game, that would suffice. Menu key shall work while not in game, or when you crashed.

Many programs have a "Capture" method of assigning keys, which is just as good, but it needs to know the difference between all of the keys. If possible, please support the rocker switch for the Wrist PDA.
the "capture" function once implemented will probably capture the fossil rocker key btw. when you change the avatar next time try to make a photo of the wrist pda on your wrist and displaying the "bike or die" screen - this should look cool
