This one is written intendedly to console Bones the creator of CMR

If we look at the number of the finisher of several "cursed level" we can get this fact:

First we have to see when they were started to be in the hall of fame and counting until today August 30, 2007:
CMR from the Next Generation - March 11, 2007 = 173 days
Dante from Old School - February 24, 2007 = 188 days
Braking School from Sweet Fifteen - August 19, 2006 = 377 days
Die or Die from Newbie pack - March 22, 2006 = 527 days
Cave Dweller from Summer pack - June 24, 2005 = 798 days
(ps. correct me if i'm miscalculating it )

Coal Miner Rescue : 44 finisher / 173 days = 0.2543 finisher/days
Dante : 47 / 188 = 0.25 finisher/days
Braking School : 51 / 377 = 0.1353 finisher/days
Die or Die : 70 / 527 = 0.1328 finisher/days
Cave Dweller : 100 / 798 = 0.1253 finisher/days

SO.. CMR is much much better than those other 'cursed level' (if we look from the statistic ), but it's not my favourite level because of the ungrateful miner down there though still better than braking school in my opinion.

If i have to make a sorted list of those hated level i'll choose Cave D, Die or Die, CMR, Dante and the last is braking school.

Interesting breakdown Henoch

A couple things here. First, although your formula is logically correct, it doesn't take into account that CMR, being the newest of the entries, has a great advantage in this formula because I'd say that "most" of the players who will ever solve that level have already solved it. So it is highly likely that the .2543 score that it currently has will sink as the days go by. It would be more appropriate to compare where each of these difficult levels were at on the 173 day mark. But yet again that doesn't take into account that there is a different number of potential players different different time periods. So it's kinda tough to find a true comparison here.

Also, it's worth mentioning that CMR is the level of this bunch that steals control away from the biker more than any of the other levels. A great example of this is that although Cave Dweller is long and extremely challenging, once learned, I was able to duplicate nearly identical runs time and time again. I actually really enjoy playing Cave Dweller because I mastered it! This will likely never be true for CMR due to it's design.

I was writing a very similar post to Vegas when I noticed that Vega already posted it.

Nice idea, but I don't think Bones can take any consolation in those stats. Sorry Bones.

PMD was the "sorry" from "Sorry Bones" and apology or an adjective, given the nature of this level its hard to tell

It was pretty much that if he was going to find anything positive in Henoch's stats about his level, he should just forget about it.

If Bones has any thoughts of making another level like this, then he will be Sorry Bones.

This isn't a newbie level, but it's fairly original and detailed, so I think it is good to have a level like this in the Hall of Fame.

Braking School, Die or Die, Cave Dweller & Dante's are all big difficult levels and you probably need to play BoD a lot before you will enjoy them, but all are great levels in my opinion.
CMR has some good features, but its the going slowly downwards against updrafts that I struggle with. Updrafts work well if you have to go up through them or if you are in and out of them quickly.
Henoch, Home Sweet Home is the 1 level I can't see myself ever playing again
