mike flips | | | I'm a bit confused. How was this level done before the current route? This was probably the most obvious "trick" I don't know why you weren't trying it from the start. It was a waste of time to even try and beat it any other way. |
| Tyler | | | they're talking about kenn's lasertag route, not this level |
| Laser | | | @Vega- I am better than everyone, especially you and Mike.
@Mike- I am better than you.
Also, this level was originally supposed to be completed by actually riding in the side "glasses." This new trick makes part of the level design pointless and/or making the level much harder to complete quickly, i.e. killing it.
Also, the left button on my "fixed" palm is messed up making it harder to play certain levels, which is why I haven't played in the past month.
Also, @Kenn- Good job.

| Vega | | | Oh hush. Quit your cryin This is no different than Touch Bricks, Underground, Downhill Madness, Red Murder, Tatra, Equisplatt, Steps, SCYSF, blah blah. Unless you make levels like... say... oh! Vega's movie levels (just as a random example ), where it's IMPOSSIBLE to shortcut any part of the map, then these type of shortcuts are bound to happen. |
| Spence | | | I'm a fan of shortcuts |
| Vega | | | The only shortcut that I have seen that I like is Touch Bricks. And that is only because you still play most of the level and the shortcut actually has a better 'flow' to it than the original route of going back and forth. The original route on that level was awkward anyway. But everyone knows that I am not a fan of shortcuts that ruin the level design. The absolute worst ever are Underground, Tatra, and SCYSF. The shortcuts on these nearly skip the whole map. That's stupid. |
| Laser | | | Come on, Vega, I expected a cooler emoticon than that. Although I don't know if you can throw all of those levels into the same category. Underground, Downhill Madness, and Equisplateral are significantly easier to complete the "fast" way. |
| Spence | | | Vega | | | Laser | | | There we go, a real smiley.
Some of those new tricks, like Steps, will allow you to medal just by completing it because barely anyone has been able to do so. Others, like Equisplateral or Downhill Madness have been reduced to such short levels that it's also not hard to get a lot points from beating them. |
