Wow! Very nice run!

Really good to see you back buddy!

I thought you would have overhauled me at the turnaround, as mine is a bit extravagant - shall we say, but you do it just after with a nice wheelie boost. That's quite hard to get right (I haven't done it in a legit run - yet ) - well done!

So - did you go the old iPod Touch off eBay route?

Thanks Andrew, it's good to be back!

Yes, I got a refurbished iPod Touch (4th gen) off of eBay. I logged into the app store on it and found BoD in my "Purchases". I then went to the BoD website and downloaded my best times.

After a 4-year break, I figured it would take longer to get back up to speed, but it was just like riding a bike.

It did take me a few thousand tries to beat my best time and took quite a few more to finally take gold back with this run.

Our runs are very similar - the wheeling boost made the difference. Gaining and keeping momentum on the way back is more difficult than it looks.

Thanks for taking this gold, which is what it finally took to give me the drive to jump back on the bike!

Hmm... now what??

I still love this game. Really want to give my regards to SZ, he hasn't replied for quite some time now.

Ever seen bike or die on Twitch? Yeah, follow @parkerlreed
on twitch or "Parker Reed" on youtube - he's been playing Bike or Die in the Mu emulator, on a Nintendo Switch. Me? I still have a T|T3 for playing BoD when the time comes.

But it really is a good time for Palm OS rights now. A few of us are still enthusiastic for the Palm OS platform, and have started a bit of preservation efforts. PalmDB.net will have archives of all the Palm OS software we can find, and we've saved all the BoD levels in case the site dies unexpectedly. There's a few of us on discord that chat, and Bike or Die is pretty fondly remembered by many too. Anyone is welcome to come join us if you like. discord.gg/Nxd4US

I would also be happy to help kickstart a BoD 3.0, or even a donate towards full release of the source code.

But if you need a copy of the game (as abandonware), check out PalmDB.net.

15 years is a long time! I joined the game after the peak, but I still think this is the game Iíve put the most effort into! I was only active a short time compared to most of you, guess I played a bit too much and burned out for a while ^^ maybe Iíll pick it up again soon & #128517; It boggles my mind to see how much Andrew is dominating at the moment!

Lately I have been going through the app store to try and find another bike game that can measure up to this one, but nothing even comes close! I am however fortunate enough to still have a working device with the game installed

A BoD 3.0 would be the best thing ever!

Well done Kam! Good to see you submitting something again

It's interesting that there is no difference at all in our runs. Leads me to suspect that there is no more to be had here - this is the fully optimised route (I did try for a short while after my gold run).

It did feel like there may be though, so it wouldn't surprise me if BB had a go and further diminished my meagre, paltry Gold stash...

I tried for a while to improve here myself, Im under the impression that a wheel slips through walls easier if torque is applied to it, so I even tried turning around after using the rear wheel to get more momentum to again use the rear wheel to get through the wall when it otherwise wouldnt work, but it was too much of a hassle to try with a ton of different setups not knowing if it would work, so I gave up eventually ^^

Oh for goodness sake!!

Put upon and viciously attacked on all sides by marauding yoofs.

Not even as if I can do anything about it at the moment - but I shall...Probably.

so close! Iím ahead all the way to the wall, but a slightly sub-optimal flip puts me behind by 3 frames

itís going to be years until I can realistically challenge your position, so for now Iíll enjoy gold in this pack at least before you start getting serious again ^^

I always find myself checking in every ear or so. BoD is still a gem. Hope everyone's keeping well. I'm going to try and find me some way to play this again, I'm still salty about losing a couple of golds (and the Foothill Half-Circle tie).

What's wrong with the Foothill Half-circle tie? True story - I got that gold while I was at a sleep clinic, clearly failing that test.
