Player's comment:
Another new gold, open, I did not know that I previously had bronze until I recently submitted my Fear of the Dark game.

The main thing to note here is the switch from the classic, easier, and slower cablecar at the start to one in which I can accelerate and thus have more momentum for the future floors, especially the 2nd.

Another important feature is the flip at the start of the 3rd level instead of turning around to go across the floor. This is far from perfect, most of my lost time comes from the 4th floor, take it at your leisure.

As always, I ask that, in the spirit of competition, if you use something that I introduce to the level here, that you leave your game open upon relieving me of this gold.

Nice one Kenn! I never expected this level to go below 40.XX when I first made it.

Very good! On the bottom floor, do you think you could have handled the first bump a little bit quicker? I know that if you play it too quickly, it's harder to hit off of the curve after the drop from the sticky for extra momentum towards the flags.

@tdg I expect another second, maybe even 2 will come off if it is executed perfectly, in truth the place where I lost the most time is actually when exiting the 3rd floor, I've found it's much faster to take that particular exit a little slower though still using a wall bounce for extra speed going into the 4th floor.

@laser There is lost time on the bottom floor as well, with good execution it can be a bit faster, but an interesting thing to look at is that both on the 4th floor after collecting the flag, and while jumping off of the sticky, I use my tires to push against the hook on the top and the ending ramp respectively to get just that little bit more speed. If you go into the bottom floor with less bounce it becomes harder to have that advantage for the end, I'm sure one way is faster, but the difference is probably a wash until by some miracle this level gets to the point of bottle and snowstorm etc. (it never will obviously)

I see what you mean by how you lit the ring and ramp on the 4th level, but if anything it looks like doing that makes it harder to bounce in the beginning of bottom floor because it "grounds" you.

Well, hitting the ground like that on the 4th floor opens up the opportunity to do a flip turn around just like the in the 2nd floor to 3rd floor transition.

The plan with this route and that little bump for extra speed is to do another turnaround like that, but I failed on this particular attempt, it is very much doable though. Most of the time I thought I lost was at the beginning of the 4th floor, I have an extremely slow transition there and a very unnecessarily high jump.

If you're going for the 2nd/3rd kind of flip against the wall, you might try hitting your front wheel harder against the ground (pressing "left") just as you land after the ring.

I love the innovation you bring to the game. As PMD said last week when you took one of his golds, I wish you the best of luck on other levels (as long as they're not mine).

Btw, you apologized to PMD...

Your gold wasn't years old after practical mastery of the level though, nevertheless :p sorry BB, but don't think this excludes you or PMD from having a target painted all over one of your current golds. For the time being both of you are safe, I've been working on retaking both Haunted and Everest in order to have an all gold profile again, which both currently belong to Mike.

I like your current plan
