This Gold was taken in the first 5 seconds of the run. You had a huge lead over me right away--almost a second. I almost caught you though.

Several things I notice about your run PMD. First of all, I have 11,000+ tries on this level now, with 200+ completions (only completed 1 time the long way). I have several runs right around your time, but your run looks so unique that none of mine look anything like yours.

Your start, although painfully slow, allowed you to climb the left wall much slower than I did. This allowed you to somehow hook onto the ledge very smoothly. In all my runs, I purposefully bank my rear tire against the backside of the ledge to keep my distance (so as not to smack the biker’s head and die).

What I gather from all of this is that it's a trade off. I chose to climb fast, which forces me to take that extra half second to latch on. You chose to climb slow and latched on very smoothly (dang near impossible to do at my climbing speed). The beginning of your run is similar to Oliver's. Slow beginning, but smooth hook. Except yours is even more extreme than Oliver’s. So although it seems that there may be significant wiggle room in this time, there's really not. Also, the cable zip across and the flip around to normalcy determines how you are able to gather speed and leap off to the finish. More speed does not necessarily equal faster finish. (see Oliver’s run) Even the slightest variation in speed changes everything. So a H2H comparison on this level is not as cut and dry as some other levels.

Oliver vs. PMD

I'd peg high 16.xx as "possible", but highly unlikely. I was happy to land the 17.26, a breakthrough run away from my 17.64 best ghost.

weird... for some reason, it's not letting me post a link.
Under Oliver vs. PMD was their H2H game but it showed up blank.

H2H links don't show up in forum or chat comments. If you get rid of the http and post the rest, it will show up (although it won't be clickable).
