Since I have gold in the longest level (Cave Dweller), I decided to revisit another one of the long levels. I said awhile back that this level could get to 1:34ish. My beginning could be faster and I flubbed it up at the upper right, but my turnaround just before the cable is what sent me ahead of my ghost. Open for now...
Fun race to watch. I was over 1 second behind in the lower right corner. My move around the 56 sec mark put me ahead by a half sec. We were tied up again across the top of the cable. A nice spring in the turnaround put me up by a quarter sec, which I held to the finish.
It was actually your move at 52-54 while bouncing off the wall that got you the extra speed boost over me. You somehow glided in smoothly enough without losing speed, and then bounced right off, even though the ground there is somewhat uneven.
That and the top left at the end with my famous braking issues (if you remember the length of time I spent trying to do the easiest Tatra tricks), and you got the gold.
