Any day that you can pass Cirenco and Mike in a level is a good day. This level follows the same pattern that I've experienced since switching to the iOS version - about 1,000 new tries to re-learn a level well enough to improve my time. Moved from 15 to 4.

If there's one gold that I'd come back for, it would be this one. I don't think I spent so many tries on any other level just to settle for second place.

It's also one of the longest lasting, maybe even the longest.

I hadn't noticed that Vega submitted his gold run back in 2006. Crazy! His is a near perfect game, but there is at least one frame to squeeze out of it. If I had the dedication to spend 20,000+ tries on it, I might be able to do it.

oh yah. I squeezed every last frame out of this one. Each tiny little movement or lack of movement matters. This level is ALL about flow. I ran 19.12 many times and 19.14 even more. But then I had that one magic ending that put me a few frames ahead of all my 19.12 runs. I think a couple more frames MIGHT be possible, but it's already insanely tight at 19.08.

Vega, I figured you would show up with the talk of taking your prized gold on this level. Don't worry, I promise that if I haven't beat it by the time I get to 20,000 tries, I'll give it up. I got this run in 1,000, so I have only 19k to go.
