if you think that your route is better why dont you open it?

Because as soon as I did, everyone would switch to my route and then I'd have to spend more time on it. Plus, you have enough golds for now.

you can never have enough

So true. Everyone always begs for opening. Then as soon as you do, they go and beat your run. Double Sprint... classic example. People hounded me to open that... then as soon as I did, Champ was like "Hey thanks Vega now I'm gonna take this". My long time gold was 4th within a week.

You're so right, Vega. I mean, why does competition have to be part of the game at all?

my philosophy is that if your not good enough to defend your gold when everyone knows the route then you don't deserve to have it at all

I open all my routes the day I get them

My standing policy is just that if someone uses the route that I was the first person to show then they should (hopefully by moral obligation) keep their game open, thus far I'm pretty sure this has happened.

You guys are hilarious. I love the competition.
And while I can 'defend' any of my golds... I was merely stating an observation,
which is that you hold golds longer when you keep them secret.
It's psychological. A secret gold is often viewed as more 'untouchable'.
Mike Flips is a great example of this.

i agree kenn

and vega i'm not so sure that you can defend your golds too well, you would have to submit more than once every two years to do that
