|  |  | I remember the day (like it was last week) that I hated this level and didn't think I would ever be able to put all the moves together to get a fast run. It's amazing what a little experience will do in this game.
My route is the same as the top few open runs, but I do 2 or 3 moves slightly different. Btw, who was the first to introduce the route Vega uses? It seems obvious now, but I'm sure it took a lot of thought at the time.
After spending many thousands of tries on this level, I must agree with Vega that it could be done a couple of seconds faster IF all moves could be put together perfectly. However, that is a BIG IF. This level is the longest of all HoF levels and there are SO many places to goof up, especially at the end. I can't count how many awesome runs I've had only to get stuck on the last hill or hit my head on the wall at the flag.
As you can imagine, I no longer hate this level. In fact, it is one of my favorites to play now (it is the only level I've played for a week now). |

| | | wow. can't believe it's been 3 years. I had it for 2 years before you submitted yours. looks like you did some risky moves right near the end. i have always known 1:52 was possible, but after seeing yours and PMD's runs, I think 1:49 might even be possible with a super clean run. But seriously, this is nowhere near the top of my list. I have several others to get to first but no time at the moment.
