no u dont

remember you guys talked about how the older people didnt have videos and we do now so its easier?

Well, now that we have vids we can all see how the level is done, and there are more players so everyone is attempting the same trick and therefore more people do it and get fast times making it hard to get a fast time

IN the "olden days" no one could watch the tricks and it would take weeks, even months for someone to figure out what the gold medalist did and then beat it thus making it easier to retain gold medals for longer

Since there were no movies to watch, it was harder to get a good time. You said that none of the former players deserved to rank above you in the Golden Club, but many were probably as good as you.

no movies = you keep your secrets so its easier to hold gold

i never said i should be above them btw

You implied it, hee hee.
The point is, the former players had just as much potential, but either played less or spent more time descovering new routes. There should be a way to remember them, and this is that way.

How are people ranked in a tie? There are several people with one day, and they don't seem to be sorted any order.

they are ranked in no particular order... i guess this should be fixed

Mike Flips - I believe there is something that you are overlooking regarding this whole Golden Club rating method. One of the things that seem to not sit well with you is that it will take so long to accumulate days. But remember the current leaders didn't accumlate those days overnight either. It took them years, so it's no different for anyone else. You seem to think that it's not fair because the other players were here first so naturally they have an advantage over newer players because the competition wasn't as stiff. There is some truth to that, but that is how all rankings in all games and all sports work. Records must first be established so that the next person can come along and break it some day. Maybe 2 years from now some new guy will come onto the BOD scene and obliterate all of the current records and wonder why we all sucked so badly. This is just like Mark McGwire breaking the homerun record. It doesn't mean Babe Ruth's 60 or Roger Maris's 61 wasn't amazing. For many years, it was the best anyone had ever accomplished. But just because Bonds hit 73 doesn't mean that 70 is weak. Also, the longer someone holds some kind of record, the longer period of time they are recognized as the Champion of that time period. Well, the Golden Club was meant for the same idea. It recognizes players that held the records for the longest time. And of course, they began BOD B4 we did. That would be like McGwire saying that it's not fair that Roger Maris was able to play in the 1960's era when baseball was "easier" because the records we not as hard to break. Same exact concept. I know you think a lot of the previous players were not as good as their recognition, but at the time their gold medals were achieved, it was the best of the best. Anyone who stops playing for 2 years or whatever is bound to lose ground in the standings. Anyway, I don't know if that all makes sense but hopefully it helps everyone understand the value of this club
