On my Life Drive, when ever I clear the editor, save a level or test a level, the program crashes and my palm resets, which on a life drive takes a LONG time.

The compatibility (v1.4 or earlier) is determined automatically. So after clearing the editor, if you test immediately, it doesn't check for errors?
